Job Summary:

As a Business Analyst, you will be deeply involved in analyzing business processes and financial data, gathering detailed requirements, and supporting the development of our accounting and financial software. A key focus of this role will be on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of accuracy and functionality. Your ability to think expansively, solve complex problems, and apply logical reasoning will be critical to your success in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Leverage your accounting domain knowledge and apply expansive thinking and logic to solve complex problems, providing innovative solutions that enhance our software’s functionality.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements for accounting and financial software.

• Communicate complex financial and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Conduct thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system testing to ensure product accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business needs.

• Utilize SQL and relational database skills to extract, analyze, and present data insights relevant to financial processes.

• Play a key role in product training and enablement, demo, documentation, and customer support.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience:

1-3 years of work experience preferred, with a background in a Big Four or local audit firm being a strong advantage. Experience with implementing or using accounting software is highly desired.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
• Strong skills in relational databases and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Familiarity or experience with accounting General Ledger (GL) systems preferred.
