Client: A Leading D2C baby product brand was founded in 2014 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Company is having annual turnover of around 200 Crs & employee strength of 200 employees & they are providing international safety standard certified bay products by their e-commerce website & online market platforms like Amazon, Flipkart & other leading online & offline platforms. Their product range includes high-chairs, beddings, strollers, car seats, a nursery range, ride-on, grapple toys, a feeding range, and more. Witnessing the huge need for the baby care segment, the brand has introduced compact, lightweight 'Baby Feather Diaper' wipes and Diaper Bin this year. With a strong commitment to sustainability, recently the brand has launched an exclusive baby products range that includes baby cream, lotion, soap, shampoo, powder, and baby massage oil.
Job Title – Business Analyst (Ecommerce Business)
Location – Ahmedabad
Experience - 3–5 years of experience in business analytics, e-commerce analytics, finance, or retail analytics.
Qualification - MBA or CA
Salary - 8 - 10 LPA
Job Role & Responsibilities:
1. Data Analytics & Decision Support
- Develop real-time dashboards and reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compare them with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Analyze data from multiple sources (e-commerce sales, customer interactions, vendor data, and financial metrics) to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Conduct deep data analysis to generate insights that support business finance, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders for optimizing pricing, promotions, and customer experience.
2. Reporting & Automation
- Establish reporting standards and collaborate with the team to develop automated reporting solutions.
- Simplify and automate reports and analytics processes to enhance efficiency and enable self-service access for stakeholders.
- Ensure uniformity and consistency in data-driven decision-making by standardizing analytical methodologies.
3. Business Process Optimization
- Map, design, and improve business processes for operations, sales, marketing, and supply chain.
- Identify pain points across departments and implement data-driven process improvements.
- Manage small to large projects focused on business process enhancement and automation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
4. Data Management & Insights
- Ensure access to structured data while maintaining data security and integrity.
- Work closely with leadership to leverage data for strategic decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process automation as per business need.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align data insights with business objectives.
- Assist leadership in making data-backed business decisions to drive revenue growth.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on insights, recommendations, and project updates to management and stakeholders.
Specifications:
- Prior experience in a D2C, FMCG, e-commerce, or consumer goods environment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills using PowerPoint
