Q2 is seeking a Business Analyst to support our Fraud Prevention team by working closely with the Product Owner, engineers, and customer-facing teams. Your role will focus on translating customer needs into actionable product features, improving fraud and risk management solutions, and enhancing automation and compliance. You’ll bridge business needs with technical solutions, ensuring high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business and technical requirements for product enhancements.
- Design solutions using conceptual models, business process workflows, and use cases.
- Collaborate with fraud analysts to assess fraud trends and refine risk models.
- Define user stories, product features, and requirements in Jira and Confluence.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution effectiveness.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage product backlogs.
- Provide training and create user guides for product functionalities.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
What You Bring:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (Computer Science, Finance, or a related field) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience as a Business Analyst in banking, payment processing, financial technology, or SaaS.
- Strong knowledge of fraud prevention, risk management, and digital banking security.
- Experience with payment disputes, chargebacks, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools, APIs, and process modeling.
- Experience with ACH payments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum), Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- CBAP certification or similar credentials (preferred).
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
