About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Value Chain Chemistries (VCC) Business Unit. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise, domain understanding, and curiosity to uncover actionable insights that drive business decisions and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
• Perform cohort and segmentation analysis to evaluate customer, product, and market behaviours.
• Translate complex datasets into meaningful insights and develop clear, concise data storytelling for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, R&D, Sales, Operations) to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support real-time decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity while working with multiple data sources.
• Apply outcome-oriented thinking to connect analytics with business objectives and measurable results.
• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data for improving efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes.
  
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• 5–10 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the chemical / life sciences industry.
• Strong expertise in Exploratory Data Analysis, cohort analysis, and segmentation techniques.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and present them in a structured, insightful, and business-relevant manner.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Excel) and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and problem-solving mindset.
• Proven track record of driving actionable insights aligned with organisational goals.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale business, sales, or operations datasets.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and experimental design is a plus.
