We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with proven experience in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and translating them into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs). The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and are delivered with clarity and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with business and IT teams.
- Translate business needs into clear, structured, and comprehensive FSDs.
- Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure requirements are technically feasible.
- Create process flows, use cases, and user stories to support requirement clarity.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through the project lifecycle (BRD → FSD → Testing → Deployment).
- Support QA/testing teams by preparing test scenarios and validating delivered solutions against FSDs.
- Manage changes through version control and update FSDs as scope evolves.
- Act as a bridge between business users, functional consultants, and technical teams.
- Provide ongoing support in UAT, defect analysis, and post-implementation reviews.
- 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or consulting.
- Strong expertise in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and documentation.
- Proven experience in writing Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), including detailed process flows, data mappings, and business rules.
- Familiarity with BRD, SRS, User Stories, and Use Case documentation.
- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
