Job SummaryThe BA will work as part of a team of other BAs in an assigned project. Contributing to gathering analysis and documentation of business requirements to identify and recommend solutions that align with an organizations strategic needs their key duties include analysing data and translating complex insights into actionable plans for decision making across various departments.
Responsibilities
They also support the Senior BA in ensuring requirements are clearly understood prior to the beginning of coding. The BA will have a good level understanding of capital markets and they are can assist in seeing the full picture understanding the needs of the business and the client to deliver an exceptional product. Requirements Analysis (including new requirements change and defects) Attend contribute to client business discovery workshops Understand and review client written Business Requirements Documents or complete internal Business Requirement Documents and Feature Requirements Documents for sign off when required. Seek to influence high level requirements by proposing -providing descriptions associated with existing company capabilities to minimise client risk and promote standardisation Work closely with the Senior Business Analyst to map requirements to existing product features encouraging functional re-use and development of common product solutions (not bespoke development-solutions) Work closely with the Product Lead to raise all work items in Confluence facilitating estimations and solution review from relevant Implementation team members Development & Delivery Conduct mapping of client data third party data files into Platform Data structures Where necessary conduct analysis tasks required to support the development team in building new features Support Senior BA in conducting client show and tell sessions During UAT analyse issues raised by the client and identify defects v changes in requirements v misunderstanding of requirements Support Product Lead in creating updated Product User guides based on new client requirements Assist with creating Release Notes Other Work together with other Product leads Platform team Implementation team members to ensure the development of common product solutions Other ad hoc projects as required to satisfy client commitments or company objectives
