Business Analyst

About the job:

We are looking for a *Business Analyst* who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will understand customer requirements from a functional and business perspective and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements for the software development team.
This role plays a key part in ensuring that customer needs are accurately captured, documented, and successfully delivered.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather and understand functional requirements
* Analyze business needs and translate them into *functional, system, and technical requirements*
* Prepare and maintain documentation such as *BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows*
* Act as a liaison between business users, developers, testers, and IT teams
* Clearly explain requirements and clarify functional queries during development and testing
* Support solution design discussions with a basic understanding of technical architecture
* Participate in UAT, requirement validation, and defect clarification
* Ensure delivered solutions align with customer expectations and business objectives
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 2-4 years of experience as a *Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Business Process Analyst*
* Strong ability to understand and document business processes and workflows
* Basic technical understanding of *software applications, APIs, databases, and system integrations*
* Experience working closely with software development and QA teams
* Strong documentation and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Familiarity with *Agile or Waterfall* development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in *IT services, SaaS, or application development projects*
* Knowledge of *low-code platforms, ERP, CRM, or web-based applications*
* Hands-on experience with tools like *Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps*, or similar
* Understanding of *UAT planning and execution*
* Business Analysis certification is a plus
