Your future duties and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Telecom Product Owner / Business Analyst to drive the design and delivery of Order Management capabilities within our BSS/OSS ecosystem. This role is pivotal in defining business needs, managing product roadmaps, and ensuring seamless integration across systems involved in customer order fulfilment and service activation.

The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge in telecom BSS/OSS, a strong background in Order Management Systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Product Owner for the Order Management System (OMS) within the BSS/OSS architecture.
• Lead the requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for OMS-related initiatives.
• Define and prioritize product features and user stories in the backlog based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate commercial needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration of OMS with upstream (CRM, CPQ) and downstream systems (Inventory, Activation, Billing).
• Drive the evolution and optimization of order decomposition, orchestration, and fulfillment processes.
• Work with solution architects to design scalable and efficient solutions within the telecom ecosystem.
• Participate in PI planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Own end-to-end traceability of requirements through to implementation and business validation.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and support UAT and production rollouts.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure the alignment of goals and deliverables.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis / Product Ownership roles within the Telecommunications domain.
• Strong experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and their role in BSS/OSS architecture.
• Proven understanding of E2E order lifecycle, order capture, order orchestration, and fulfillment.
• Experience working with systems such as CRM, CPQ, Inventory Management, Service Activation, Billing, and Mediation.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as TM Forum (SID, eTOM, TAM) and Open Digital Architecture (ODA).
• Strong understanding of API integrations, data flows, and telecom product catalogs.
• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
