About the internship:
We are looking for a motivated business analyst - sales excellence Intern to support our sales and business development teams. The intern will work closely with stakeholders to analyze sales data, improve sales processes, track performance metrics, and help drive data-driven decision-making.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Analyze sales data, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making
2. Assist in preparing dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership using tools like Google Sheets and CRM reports
3. Support sales forecasting, lead conversion analysis, and revenue tracking
4. Identify gaps, trends, and improvement areas in sales processes and funnel performance
5. Coordinate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and process alignment
6. Help document SOPs and best practices for sales excellence and operational efficiency
7. Support automation of sales processes to improve productivity and reduce manual effort
8. Manage and maintain existing reports, workflows, and automations
9. Work extensively with CRM systems to track activities, analyze performance, and improve sales operations
10. Collaborate with technical and engineering teams when working on integrations and automation initiatives
11. Conduct market and competitor analysis when required

Other Requirements:
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, business administration, management, commerce, economics, analytics, or a related field
2. An engineering or technical background is preferred
3. Strong technical and analytical knowledge, with the ability to understand systems, data flows, and integrations
4. Solid understanding of sales processes, sales funnels, KPIs, and revenue metrics
5. Strong proficiency in Google Sheets / MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
6. Good working knowledge of CRM systems; Zoho CRM experience is a strong plus
7. Preferred experience or interest in automating sales processes
8. Familiarity with automation tools such as n8n, Pabbly, or similar workflow platforms
9. Basic understanding of APIs, API calling concepts, and working with multiple system integrations
10. Comfortable working with new technologies and AI tools to enhance reporting, analytics, and sales operations
11. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug process or data issues
12. Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
13. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
