About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and analytical professional to join the Health Insurance vertical at Policybazaar. In this role, you will harness data-driven insights to unlock business growth, streamline processes, and enable strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and track high-impact initiatives. This is a high-visibility role in a dynamic environment, offering rapid learning and accelerated growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Growth Initiatives: Conceptualize and execute key business strategies and analytical projects aimed at driving sales, improving conversions, and enhancing customer journeys.
- Data-Driven Process Optimization: Identify process gaps through data analysis and recommend actionable solutions to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Performance Ranking & Benchmarking: Develop ranking frameworks and performance scorecards for internal teams, products, and channels to drive healthy competition and accountability.
- Scenario Simulations & Decision Support: Build models to simulate different business scenarios and provide actionable insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to drive common initiatives and ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Product-Led Analytics: Contribute to product development initiatives by analyzing user journeys, identifying friction points, and recommending enhancements that improve customer experience and outcomes.
- Reporting & Insights: Create dashboards, trackers, and reports that provide regular visibility of key metrics to stakeholders.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Continuously explore new tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to elevate the analytics function.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong logical reasoning, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills, with a knack for breaking down complex business challenges into structured, data-driven solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI/Qlik); knowledge of Python/R will be a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders
- High sense of ownership and curiosity, with the ability to challenge status quo and innovate.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Prior experience in analytics, consulting, or business strategy; exposure to Insurance, E-commerce, or Financial Services sectors preferred
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier-1 Institute
- 1 to 4 years of experience in Analytics
