Position Overview :

This role sits within the Global Business Partnerships (GBP) team which manages relationships with core suppliers across airlines, hotels, rail, and car rental. Within GBP, the Global Revenue Management (GRM) data team is responsible for managing the data infrastructure, producing reports, and providing insights into the performance of our suppliers. As our hotel business grows and data becomes a key strategic pillar, this role will play an active part in both defining and delivering future data needs for GBP.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day   :

Reporting to the Manager, Hotel Revenue Reporting Data, the Business Intelligence Analyst will provide specialized BI and reporting expertise and support for the teams.

This role is considering a subject matter expert in BI and Reporting and is accountable for the development, adoption and ongoing enhancement of a best-in-class reporting and/or BI solutions and deliver an ad-hoc requests for enterprise stakeholders across multiple business units.

This includes:

• Creating and managing BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable business insights.
• Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Communicating analytical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
  
  

• Extensive experience as Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst (BAU and ad-hoc).
• Strong research, quantitative data analysis, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop/analyze business insights that will help to drive new business opportunities.
• Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process improvement, and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Highly skilled in the use of visualization tools such as Power BI to develop comprehensive reporting solutions utilizing existing data infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI concepts.
• Proficient in SQL query writing, experience manipulating large volume of complex data.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, including pivot tables, reference indexing, VLOOKUP, IF statements, macros, and VBA.
• High level of attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively in both verbal discussions and PowerPoint presentations / emails.
• Ability to work against tight deadlines and collaborate with colleagues globally.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of driving results with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of the travel industry is advantageous.
  
  
  

Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to functional work (such as Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, or Business Analytics) and 5+ years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education. A Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
