C++ Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Lead responsible for the preparation, generation, and improvement of Navigation Databases to enable efficient and accurate navigation services for FMS and other navigation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software specification
• Design and development
• Testing
• Maintenance and technical support
• Prototyping new tools

These responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with aeronautical software certification standards.

Must have Qualifications:

• 8-12 years’ experience in software development in C++.
• Strong Knowledge on the OOPS concepts.
• Establish and adhere to coding standards
• Ability to create specifications, design, and test documents
• Organize document reviews with quality managers
• Participate in the planning of software activities
• Familiarity in avionics with any one Aeronautical standard: DO-178, DO-330, DO-200...
• Experience working in international, cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in FMS Software life cycle, ARINC 424 and Navigation Databases.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Ability to mentor and grow team talent
• Experience in driving workflow and process improvements within Navigation Database sourcing and packaging
• Demonstrated ability to visualize risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Positive, proactive, and hands-on approach
• Experience working in a time-constrained, dynamic environment
