- Network Design and Architecture : Design and architect scalable and resilient network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and security infrastructure, based on business requirements and best practices.
- Network Configuration and Implementation : Perform hands-on configuration and deployment of network devices, including switches (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Juniper, Dell preferred), routers, and firewalls.
- L2/L3 Support and Troubleshooting : Provide expert-level L2/L3 support for network incidents and problems, performing advanced troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Large-Scale Network Management : Apply your experience in managing and supporting large-scale network environments, encompassing complex switching, routing protocols, and firewall configurations.
- VPN Management : Configure, manage, and troubleshoot various VPN technologies to ensure secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
- Network Monitoring and Optimization : Implement and utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues, analyze network performance, and implement optimizations for improved efficiency and reliability.
- Network Automation : Explore and implement automation strategies and tools to streamline network deployments, configurations, and management tasks.
- Documentation : Create comprehensive network documentation, including high-level and low-level design documents, configuration standards, and troubleshooting guides.
- Technology Evaluation : Evaluate new networking technologies and solutions to identify opportunities for improving network performance, security, and efficiency.
- Collaboration : Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security engineers, and application developers, to ensure seamless network integration and support for business applications.
- Customer Interaction : Address customer requests and provide technical support with professionalism and clarity, ensuring timely resolution of network-related and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 9 years of progressive experience in network design, configuration, and support roles.
