Overview

Job Description:

Highly skilled Cloud Deployment & IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage the cloud deployment, security, and IT infrastructure for robotic fleet management and automation systems. This role ensures scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based operations, enabling seamless integration with AMRs, WMS, ERP, and external enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud architecture, network security, API management, and database administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Deployment & Optimization

• Deploy and configure cloud-based automation platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability and scalability.

• Optimize virtual machines, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), storage, and compute resources to support industrial automation systems.

• Implement load balancing and failover strategies for uninterrupted service

Network Security & API Management

• Configure VPN tunnels, DMZ, and firewall rules for secure remote access.

• Implement SSL/TLS encryption, OAuth2.0, and LDAP authentication for API security.

• Manage RESTful API integrations for seamless communication with WMS, ERP, and AMR systems.

System Administration & IT Operations

• Monitor system performance, logs, and security alerts using cloud-native tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus.

• Perform server patching, OS updates, and backup automation to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

• Troubleshoot network latency, API failures, and connectivity issues to minimize downtime.

Scalability & Fleet Expansion Support

• Ensure horizontal scalability of cloud-based automation systems for multi-AMR environments.

• Optimize task distribution and routing mechanisms to handle fleet expansion.

• Assess and implement cost-efficient cloud resource management strategies.

Required Technical Skills:

• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (VM provisioning, storage, networking)

• Networking & Security: VPN tunnels, DMZ, firewall rules, OAuth2.0, LDAP authentication, SSL/TLS encryption

• API & Integration: RESTful APIs, WebSockets, Secure API Gateway configurations

• System Administration: Linux/Windows Server management, container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Database Management: SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL), backup automation, query optimization

• Infrastructure Monitoring: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Log Analytics, automated alerting

Additional Preferred Skills:

Programming Knowledge: Basic proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and troubleshooting cloud-based deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fleet management systems for AMRs

• Knowledge of SCADA/PLC integrations with cloud infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with load balancing, cloud cost optimization, and high-availability deployments

Work Mode & Deployment Scope:

• Remote Role (India-based candidates mostly working in USA time) – Cloud infrastructure, security, and IT operations can be managed remotely.

Machine Vision & Automation: Fundamental understanding of machine vision technologies and industrial automation to facilitate seamless integration with robotics and manufacturing systems.

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in cloud infrastructure, automation, or a related role.

Location: Chennai, India.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
