Cloud Architect (OCI & Fusion Middleware)

Overview

About the Role:

Are you a cloud visionary with deep roots in Oracle ecosystems? We are looking for a Cloud Architect who thrives at the intersection of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Fusion Middleware (FMW)

In this role, you won’t just manage systems; you will lead the architecture, design, and integration of complex cloud and middleware environments. You will be the bridge between legacy stability and cloud-native innovation, ensuring our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly automated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect & Implement: Design and manage robust OCI services across compute, storage, networking, and database layers.
• FMW Leadership: Lead the architecture and integration of Oracle Fusion Middleware components, including WebLogic, SOA Suite, OSB, and IAM.
• Drive Automation: Build and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, or Bash to streamline orchestration and lifecycle management.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee critical upgrades, patching, migrations, and performance tuning to ensure 99.9% environment reliability.
• Secure Integration: Implement high-level security standards (SAML, OAuth, JWT) and collaborate with security teams to ensure compliant cloud adoption.
• Strategic Collaboration: Act as a technical lead in stakeholder discussions, guiding development and operations teams through complex cloud transitions.

Core Oracle Expertise:

• OCI: Proven hands-on experience designing and managing Oracle Cloud services.
• Fusion Middleware: Deep expertise in SOA or IDAM. Proficiency in Oracle API Gateway and WebCenter is highly preferred.
• Integration Protocols: Mastery of SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON.

Automation & Systems:

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).Expert-level troubleshooting and optimization skills for middleware and cloud-native services.

Security & Compliance:

• Solid understanding of SSL/TLS and modern identity frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Native: Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or Oracle Container
• Engine (OKE).Multi-Cloud: Experience navigating AWS, Azure, or GCP alongside OCI.
• Data-Savvy: Familiarity with Oracle Database or NoSQL systems.
