Cloud Automation Tester – Telecom domain

How You Will Contribute

• Design and implement Automation test suite to validate Customer-facing REST APIs and all features of Cloud Components.
• Develop frameworks and test suites for load and regression testing; validate systems with millions of data transactions, generate reports, and track KPIs.
• Automate the build process with regression test suites using Jenkins pipeline and Robot Framework.
• Automate operational processes related to network management, provisioning, and configuration.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure that changes to the network are version-controlled and reproducible.
• Set up monitoring solutions to measure the health and performance of software applications and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with telecom engineers, software developers, and cross-functional teams to streamline QA processes and enhance collaboration.
• Promote accountability within the team by encouraging robust test framework design, automation of validation/build processes, and thorough documentation practices.

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Cloud QA Engineer in the software industry.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud technologies, and architectures.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, JMeter, TestNG, Selenium, Appium) and load generation tools.
• Experience using Jenkins for test automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies. Awareness of code quality and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Python, or Ruby.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and telecom-specific technologies.
• Experience with network configuration management tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud QA are a plus.
