Cloud Data Engineer (DBT)

• Migrate legacy workflows (built in ETL Platforms like Informatica) to DBT or Talend
• Develop & optimize ELT pipelines for legacy data platform (Teradata) migration to Databricks, Redshift, Starburst, or BigQuery
• Integrate workflows with Apache Airflow for automation & orchestration
• Optimize SQL transformations & data models for cloud-native architectures
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance using best practices
• Work closely with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders
• Implement monitoring & logging for pipeline reliability

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong ETL/ELT Development:

• Hands-on experience migrating Informatica workflows to DBT or Talend
• Expertise in SQL-based transformations

Cloud Data Engineering:

• Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on with Databricks, Redshift, Starburst, or BigQuery

Workflow Orchestration:

• Experience integrating Airflow DAGs with ETL/ELT pipelines

Programming & Scripting:

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Bash
• Experience with Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus

Data Governance & Performance Optimization:

• Understanding of data quality, lineage, and observability tools

Preferred:

• Experience with PySpark, dbt Cloud, or Talend Cloud
• Familiarity with CI/CD for DataOps (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Hands-on with Metadata Management & Data Catalogs
