• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Manage and administer Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance (MI), and SQL Server environments, ensuring performance, availability, and scalability.
• Implement and support HA/DR solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances (FCI), and replication.
• Perform SQL Server DBA activities including backup/restore, performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, patching, and security.
• Work with Python and Spark for large-scale data transformations, analytics, and automation.
• Design and maintain data models, ETL workflows, and integration between multiple data sources (on-premises and cloud).
• Migration of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases to Azure PaaS.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance policies.
• Provide administrative support for monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity management across all database environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Analysts, BI, Cloud Infra, and DevOps) for seamless delivery of data-driven solutions.
  
  

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Strong SQL development skills and proficiency in SQL and Python for automation and data wrangling.
• Good understanding of Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
• Expertise in SQL Server DBA activities including performance tuning and HA/DR configuration.
• Proven experience managing Azure SQL Database, SQL MI, and on-prem SQL Server.
• Exposure to PostgreSQL and MySQL administration.
• Knowledge of data migration, replication, and integration between heterogeneous environments.
• Familiarity with cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimization in Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
