About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with proven experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring — with a passion for optimizing performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters, containerized applications, and microservices architectures.
• Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud-related issues using Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure best practices and compliance with organizational standards.
• Optimize cloud costs and implement automation for provisioning, scaling, and deployments.
• Maintain documentation of cloud infrastructure, procedures, and configurations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional Cloud Architect / Cloud Developer / Devops Engineer certification from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is mandatory.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps principles, automation, and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure platforms.
• Exposure to data engineering or machine learning workloads on GCP.
• Understanding of Cloud Security Best Practices and Compliance frameworks.
