Our Team
Join the Software Solution Group (SSG), the central nervous system of the Copper Solutions Business Unit (CSBU), powering cloud-native transformation in electronics interconnects cable assemblies manufacturing for the Datacom & Specialty Solutions (DSS) division. As the core software team, we collaborate across the organization to deliver advanced AWS cloud solutions—including web and serverless applications—that track and analyze all manufacturing, simulation, lab artifacts, as well as process data, to drive efficiency in our manufacturing and design centers.

What You Will Do
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available AWS infrastructure.
- Work with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, Amplify, AppSync, SQS, API Gateway, ECS, CloudWatch.
- Ensure security best practices including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and network security.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, & optimize cloud environment for security, performance, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with development team on CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Participate in architecture reviews and cloud optimization initiatives.
- Stay current with AWS best practices.
- Maintain thorough design documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Mentoring team members on cloud best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4-7 years of total experience.
- 3–5 years of experience working with AWS Cloud services.
- Strong hands-on experience with EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, Amplify, AppSync, CloudWatch.
- Proven expertise leveraging IaC using Terraform or CloudWatch.
- Experience with automation and scripting (Python).
- Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Subnets).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (AWS CodeCommit, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
- Understanding cloud security and best practices.
- Knowledge of serverless architecture.
- Knowledge of Docker and Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and cost optimization tools.
- AWS certification(s).
