What you can expect from the job

Cloud Infrastructure Basics: Assist in deploying and managing cloud environments, primarily on AWS (mandatory), with exposure to Azure or GCP as a plus.

Monitoring & Logging: Support basic monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch or similar tools.

Collaboration: Work with developers and operations teams to troubleshoot cloud-related issues.

Basic Automation: Learn and apply scripting (Python, Bash) for simple automation tasks.

CI/CD Exposure: Gain experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Security Awareness: Follow best practices for IAM, security groups, and cloud security fundamentals.

Troubleshooting & Support: Assist in diagnosing basic cloud infrastructure issues.

Version Control Familiarity: Work with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for code and configuration management.

Container Basics: Understand and use Docker for simple deployments, with exposure to Kubernetes.

What will help you do the job well

Must-have Skills/ Characteristics

Basic knowledge of AWS (mandatory), including EC2, S3, and IAM.

Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals (compute, storage, networking).

Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.

Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.

Willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Other Desirable Skills/characteristics

Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.

Interest in cloud security best practices.

Awareness of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups).

Basic monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch or similar tools.

Certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred but not mandatory).

Enthusiasm for learning DevOps methodologies and tools over time.

Knowledge of ISMS principles and best practices.

Willingness to travel domestic/international.
