Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer II who can build, manage, and secure scalable AWS environments using a wide array of AWS services. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high-performance cloud systems, implementing infrastructure as code, and automating tasks using Python or shell scripting. A deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and the 3-tier architecture model is essential.

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer II who can build, manage, and secure scalable AWS environments using a wide array of AWS services. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high-performance cloud systems, implementing infrastructure as code, and automating tasks using Python or shell scripting. A deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and the 3-tier architecture model is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS 3-tier architecture (web, application, and database layers).
- Provision, patch, manage, and troubleshoot EC2 instances and associated resources.
- Design and configure secure, scalable VPCs including Subnets, NACLs, Security Groups, and routing.
- Work extensively with AWS services: EC2, RDS, S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, Backup, and more.
- Handle storage provisioning, backup/restore, and disk management.
- Use Terraform and Git to define and version infrastructure.
- Automate operational tasks using Python or shell scripts.
- Deploy and maintain applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Set up centralized monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch and logging tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, security, and scalability.
- Support network troubleshooting and incident response for cloud-based services.
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services, including practical experience across most major offerings.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking (VPC, routing, NACLs, VPNs, DNS, etc.).
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Scripting expertise in Python or shell.
- Proficient in monitoring and alerting with AWS CloudWatch.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect - Compulsary)..
- Familiarity with managing multi-account AWS environments via AWS Organizations or Control Tower.
