Job Description - Grade Specific
This role has a foundational understanding of cloud platform concepts and software development principles and business analyst-type skills. Key responsibilities and attributes include:Foundational Knowledge and Learning: Possessing a basic understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure management, and programming concepts. Primarily focused on learning and applying basic principles and techniques in cloud platform engineering.Analytical Activities: Engaging in tasks such as monitoring cloud systems, capturing and interpreting data on dashboards, and assisting in the build of secure and performant cloud infrastructure.Skill Development: Actively working to improve technical competencies in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as foundational tools and practices like automation, containerisation, and infrastructure as code (IaC).Supervised Contribution: Following established procedures and working under supervision to contribute to the team's objectives, while gradually taking on more complex tasks as skills develop.Team Collaboration and Learning: Collaborating with more experienced team members, seeking guidance and feedback, and taking advantage of learning opportunities to build both professional and technical skills.
