Cloud Solution Architect

Overview

Do you want to play a vital part in the design of our current and future Cloud Adoptions in AM Tech? Do you have proven ability to design, develop and deploy complex platforms and applications and run a COE?

We’re looking for an Cloud Solution Architect to:

• design Reference architectures for Cloud Adoption to be followed by across AM Tech, thereby allowing various Crews to Migrate their Apps to Cloud.
• Review & create the troubleshooting documents
• work with different TS Product teams for Demand Management, Risk Avoidance, Risk coverage, ensuring the end solution is fit for purpose and AM Tech is safe from risk perspective.
• align with AM Risk / MER teams for general Cloud compliances and guidelines.
• guide implementation teams like Application teams / Adoption Factory teams to successful delivery
• make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure
• collaborate on Cloud problem analysis, proof-of-concepts, pilots, design Reference Architectures.
• partner with AM Tech Crews and ASR Teams to enable and drive improvement Cloud Adoption Ranking, Cloud Native Adoption KPIs.
• Review Cloud Architectures against Well Architected Framework & create Recommendations for Crews
• Regular updates and Publishing of Recommendation framework reports
• Provide consultation to App teams to review / refine cloud architecture pre-ARFs and post-ARFs.
• Run and own running the CTO Cloud COE.
• Represent AM CTO from Cloud in the AM Architecture Review Forums

Your team

You’ll be working in the AM CTO COE team based in our Pune, EON, India office. Our team makes sure that Cloud Adoption by our LOB is gradually increasing in both quantity and quality by collaborating with various AM Streams / Crews, creating Architecture Patterns, and creating technical roadmap for Risk Compliance and creating a combined knowledge for Reference by AM Tech Staff. As an Cloud Solution Architect, you’ll play an important role in making sure we achieve both business and technology objectives.

Your expertise

• overall technology experience of 15+ yrs, ideally with Finance sector
• strong knowledge of Azure services (min 4+ years on Azure) mainly in Compute, Database, Storage etc. areas (AZ-900 certification required, AZ-305 would be preferred)
• strong understanding of overall architecture including app design, scaling, performance, monitoring, Business Continuity Management
• good understanding of cost optimization techniques for Azure Services
• 10+ yrs of development experience in either Dot Net / Java etc. language
• knowledge of Power BI / Power Automate will be add-on
• experience with Azure Cloud Adoption at scale would be beneficial
• successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
• bachelor’s, master’s degree or equivalent (technical school) in [Computer Science / IT ].
• knowledge of traditional Programming languages, such as [Python, Bash, or PowerShell], new languages like [Java , .NET Core] are advantageous.
