About the job:
You will lead the storytelling frontier for our public policy and political research work. Using data + visual design + narrative craft, you'll create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms, showing how public policy analytics impact societies, constituencies, governance, and civic engagement.Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and produce content (infographics, carousel posts, short video clips, data visualisations) explaining public policy topics, electoral data, survey findings, and research insights
2. Use Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to create high quality visuals aligned with brand style
3. Translate data outputs into clear, accurate visual stories in collaboration with research teams
4. Plan and schedule content calendars for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels
5. Monitor content engagement metrics; refine visuals and messaging accordingly
6. Assist in creative asset production for reports, dashboards, and campaign materials

5. Social media strategy exposure: Experience running or curating professional LinkedIn/IG handles for research or advocacy orgs
Required skills & qualifications:
1. Degree in design, communications, public policy, social sciences, or related field
2. Proven experience creating content for social media in the public policy/research/governance sector
3. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere/After Effects) and Canva
4. Strong ability to visualise data (charts, infographics, maps, dashboards)
5. Ability to simplify complex research into engaging stories
6. Collaboration skills with researchers and analysts to ensure factual accuracy
