Core Network Engineer

Overview

Requirement:

To cover the work related to mainly Systems & Security (Server Hardware’s and

Server OS Platform Infrastructure, Antivirus, VM ware, Backup and VAPT

Assessment) & Network infrastructure (Routers, Switches & Firewalls including

CCTV Servers and Cameras)

Administrating and Monitoring computing environment & network envirnoments;

installing upgrades; updates and patches

Main Roles & Responsibilities

1. Planning, Design and implement new network project as per Requirement

2. Implementation of Cisco Router and switches at Branch and DC as per

requirement

3. Monitoring alert from planet for link down issue and co-ordinate with ISP team

for restoration of link

4. Network ACL preparation as per project requirement

5. Co-ordinate with vendor for network device related issue

6. Updating IOS image in cisco switch and router

7. RAID configuration in Server and OS installation and configuration as per

project

8. Prepare Project document and share with Management

9. Performing VAPT Scan of Application, Servers and Database

10. Co-ordination Application and Operation team to remediate Vulnerability issue

11. Managing Mcafee EPO AV server

12. Managing Server and Network device Inventory

13. Updating Network and Rack diagrams

14. Preparing Monthly Activity dashboard and share with Management

Addons:

1. Provide technical services and support in the following areas:

 Network level: WAN and LAN Connectivity, Routers Firewalls and

Switches

 Network Infrastructure, cloud and internal Servers

 Linux related technologies, Windows Server, SQL Server and MSSQL

 Virtual Technologies: VMware and Microsoft

 Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications

2. Perform network assessments and System Assessments

3. Participate in the administration and maintenance of the Network Equipments

and Systems (PCs & Server Hardware and OS Platform infrastructure)

4. Updating the operating system and other applications with latest service pack,

antivirus definitions, security patches at server level with the help of OEM

support.

5. Monitoring and Reporting of Network and System Equipments

6. Monitoring of Backup Server and Reporting

7. Any other task related to IT Infra Projects (Such as Supervision of LAN

Cabling and other related items such as Racks and Its dressing)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹191,271.92 - ₹849,259.85 per year
