Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires working closely with agile teams to implement scalable and efficient software using contemporary frameworks. Throughout the day, there is a focus on continuous improvement of software performance and alignment with specific business requirements, ensuring that the solutions delivered meet the evolving needs of the organization and its stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks within software development projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align software development with organizational goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Security.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures.
• Ability to analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities in cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards related to cloud security.

Additional Requirements -

Must have hands-on Azure cloud engineering in an enterprise environment, and must possess expertise on core Azure networking
Strong IaC experience in production at scale - Terraform
Confident communicator — able to work alongside multiple application teams through change windows
Must have skills: Terraform, Azure VNet & hub-spoke, Azure Private Endpoints, Private DNS Zones, Azure Policy, SAFe delivery
Good to have: Azure Network Security Perimeter, Azure Resource Graph, AZ-700, AZ-500 certified

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Security.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
