Job Description: Entry-Level Cybersecurity Associate

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in IT security and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the domain of cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and Operations:
Gain hands-on experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools to monitor security events.
Assist in managing EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) tools to protect sensitive data and endpoints.
Support the team in handling other IT security tools as required.
2. Privilege Access Management (PAM):
Learn and assist in managing PAM (Privileged Access Management) tools to ensure secure handling of privileged accounts.
3. Security Operations Center (SOC) Support:
Develop a basic understanding of SOC processes, including incident response, log analysis, and threat monitoring.
Assist in identifying and responding to potential security incidents under the guidance of senior team members.
4. Examination Security:
Understand the security requirements of online examination systems and contribute to safeguarding the process against potential threats.
Assist in monitoring and addressing security concerns related to examination platforms.
5. Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT):
Learn the fundamentals of VAPT for applications and websites.
Assist in identifying vulnerabilities and testing the security posture of organizational assets.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A keen interest in IT security and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
