JOB POSITION

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Tableau and Power BI to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data needs, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and develop data models to ensure data accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
• Clean, transform, and prepare data from various sources for analysis and visualization.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, identify trends, and create compelling visualizations to provide insights into business performance.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensure the reliable performance of BI solutions.
• Work with IT and other teams to integrate BI solutions with existing systems and develop data architecture standards.
• Automate reporting processes and standardize templates for reporting across the organization.
• Lead the technical design and architecture for data visualization solutions, conceptualize reports, and ensure designs meet business requirements.
• Serve as the authority on data visualization principles, tools, and best practices, guiding other team members.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
• Analyze and clean data from various sources, identify trends and patterns, and ensure data quality.
• Optimize dashboard performance and usability across different platforms and ensure solutions are reliable and efficient.
• A strong understanding of visual design principles and a creative eye are necessary to produce engaging and effective visuals.
  
  

• Dashboard and report development: Design, develop, and enhance interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports for complex datasets.
• Data integration: Connect and manage data sources from various systems (e.g., SQL databases, Snowflake) and implement ETL processes to prepare data for analysis.
• Performance optimization: Troubleshoot and tune dashboards, queries, and data connections to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations and actionable insights.
• Technical leadership: Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and ensure the adoption of best practices and standards for data analytics.
• Maintenance and documentation: Maintain and publish dashboards to Tableau Server or Cloud, manage security, and create and maintain technical documentation.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering Stream.
• Specialized training, certifications, and/or other special requirements: Nice to have.
  
  

• Should have hands on experience in Software development/IT project support for at least 4 – 6 years of experience
  
  

• Data Visualization Tools: Tableau, Power Bi
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages such as Python and Sql
• Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to think critically and solve complex coding and design challenges.
• Knowledge of Databases: Proficiency with databases like snowflake and SQL
• Software Development Practices: Understanding of version control systems like Git and methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
• AWS and Cloud Services: Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills for working within a team or across departments.
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
