Senior Data Analyst

In This Role You’ll Make An Impact By

• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
• Correcting corrupt data and addressing coding errors and related issues to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
• Developing and maintaining databases, and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
• Conducting evaluations to gauge the integrity and significance of data.
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
• Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain supply chain planning models and tools.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory levels, demand forecasts, and production schedules to support operational planning.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain and planning portfolio.
• Developing and maintaining data models to support business decision-making and analytical processes.
• Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
• Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends.
• Another integral element of data analysis is EDA or Exploratory Data Analysis Project. In such data analyst projects, the analyst needs to scrutinize data to recognize and identify patterns and use data modeling techniques to summarize the overall features of data analysis.
  
  

To Succeed You Must Hold

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Proven experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, and data analysis
• 6 to 8 years of experience in the field of Data and Analytics, SCM.
• Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and production planning.
• Possessing an analytical mindset to gather, quantify, structure, and interpret data.
• Technical proficiency in database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
• Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, R, and Python
• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI is a must.
• Proficiency in addressing challenges, precision, and meticulous focus on detail.
• Networking & collaboration skills in a global setup -Working experience with Europe, Americas, and APAC stakeholders.
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills. Proven working experience in data analysis.
• Experience in working with data analytics & reporting platforms like KNIME and data processing platforms like Snowflake will be an added advantage.
