We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable business insights, support data-driven decision making, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using SQL, Python, and visualization tools
- Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate business assumptions
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
- Develop and maintain automated reporting systems and dashboards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams
- Support A/B testing initiatives and experimental design
- Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
- Ensure data quality and integrity across reporting systems
- Document data processes and maintain data governance standards
- Work with engineering teams to improve data collection and storage
- Support business planning and forecasting activities
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for various business units
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements
- Contribute to data strategy and analytics roadmap
Technical Skills
- SQL: Advanced proficiency in writing complex queries, joins, and data manipulation
- Python/R: Experience with pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn for data analysis
- Excel: Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling
- Visualization Tools: Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools
- Statistics: Understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex data insights into business recommendations
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental design
- Understanding of business metrics and KPIs
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Jupyter notebooks and version control (Git)
