Overview
Role Title: Data Analyst
Location: Gurugram, Full Time, 6 Days Working
We are looking for an individual to join our rapidly growing team at Anveshan, as a Data Analyst.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze inventory performance across Q-commerce locations (Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto, etc.) to reduce ageing stock and improve replenishment accuracy
- Develop and maintain city-level P&L dashboards, tracking sales, discounts, costs, and contribution margins
- Monitor consumer promotions, trade discounts, and payouts; identify leakage or overspends and optimize campaign effectiveness
- Evaluate performance of ATL/BTL campaigns, influencer spends, and digital performance metrics with clear ROI benchmarking
- Build automated reports/dashboards using Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Tableau for real-time access
- Assist in data preparation, analysis and dashboard preparation for user-level data.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Build effective visualizations to communicate data to key decision-makers.
- Automate manual processes and reconciliations.
- Deliver actionable insights across SKUs, geographies, and channels to support monthly business reviews
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least4-5 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, preferably in Q-commerce, D2C, or FMCG sector
- M.S. or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or other quantitative fields preferred not mandatory.
- Expertise in excel - The candidate should be able to work on, and modify large amounts of data using Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good SQL skills - Ability to use queries on databases. Knowledge of Tableau is a plus.
- Ability and experience in extracting insights from data with acute attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Python/R is a plus.
