The Central Operations Team provides vital support across the organisation, acting as the backbone for consistent, efficient, and compliant operations. Our scope extends across people, processes, governance, and operational expertise, enabling client facing teams to focus on delivery while we support the systems, environments, and standards that underpin excellent performance.
We work collaboratively with all lines of business to ensure that operations run smoothly, risks are effectively managed, and improvements are continuously identified and implemented.
Each of the five sub-teams (Contract Services Department and Quality Management , Continuous Improvement, Facilities Operations, Process & Controls, Training & Competency) brings a specialised focus to our collective remit. From ensuring colleagues are skilled and competent in their roles, to embedding robust processes and controls, driving operational efficiency and managing contracts – the Central Operations Team plays a strategic and enabling role.
Our work supports both day-to-day functionality and long-term capability building, ensuring the organisation remains agile, resilient, and well-equipped to meet evolving demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and understand data-related requirements
- Analyse business processes and data workflows to ensure accurate and complete requirement capture.
- Study and Analyse data in various systems to understand nature of the data and derive inferences.
- Identify gaps in data available and suggest/build solutions to connect data and bridge the gaps
- Excellent communication and prompt engineering skills, with the ability to design effective prompts and work with AI tools
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications for developers
- Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of data solutions
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI
- Conduct data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide feedback to development teams
- Assist in documentation activities, including requirement specifications, data dictionaries, and process flows
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for various applications to improve data retrieval and user interaction.
- Create and deliver clear and concise presentations of data findings to stakeholders.
- Stay current with Power BI updates, Artifical intelligence, new features, and best practices to enhance performance and functionality. Actively seek out ways to improve reporting processes.
- Prior experience in insurance companies/insurance sector would be an added advantage
- Hands on experience with Microsoft’s Power platform suite of tools including SQL, JSON
- Exposure to object-oriented programming and data management
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a collaborative environment Expected to handle multiple projects, with stringent timelines
