Overview
The opportunityAs a Data Analyst, you will conduct specific advanced data analyzes, develop custom tools and implement robust data quality controls using statistical methods. You will support one specific area of our portfolio.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Mine and analyze data by using state-of-the-art methods to support the development of predictive models. Data originates mostly from IoT sensors and telematics units.
- Develop custom data analytics tools and data visualizations to report on data quality and AI model performance KPIs.
- Prepare structured documentation that clearly describes the findings and the recommended action plans
- Support data scientists with data exploration and cleaning, data analytics, data visualizations and data annotations.
- Provide technical support to existing solutions, addressing bug fixes and simple issues
- Stay current with the latest advancements in advanced data analytics technologies to provide informed support and recommendations.
- Understand and adhere to internal system constraints and governance
Qualification and Skills Required:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science or related field with coursework in statistics or data science.
Languages
You are fluent in English.
Experience
2-5 years experience in advanced data analysis on large data sets, including data cleaning and data visualization.
Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with:
- Software engineering tools and practices (Python, Git, Unit testing, CI/CD principles)
- Data engineering tools (Python, Pandas, Jupyter notebook)
- Visual analytics platforms (Tableau, Superset, Streamlit)
- Database and other data storage technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, MySQL, S3, Athena, DynamoDB)
- Cloud platform technology (AWS, MS Azure or Snowflake)
- System infrastructure in Linux/Windows (Bash, PowerShell, Docker, CRON, Apache Airflow)
- Applied Mathematics (statistics, regression, simulation, scenario analysis)
- Advanced Data Analytics (applied statistics, model evaluation, data visualization)
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate well with stakeholders and customers from a wide range of backgrounds
Must be able to function independently as well as work in a collaborative team environment.
