Role: Analyst (Real World Data Analytics), India
We are seeking a self-directed, inquisitive, and enthusiastic Analyst to join our dynamic, fast-growing team in Bangalore. In this role, the expectation is that the candidate is capable of understanding data, manipulating data, and delivering data and analyses leveraging large healthcare data assets.
Role And Responsibilities
Education: Background in quantitative sciences or studies with a healthcare focus or several years of work experience providing the same background. PREFERRED: post-undergraduate studies, graduate studies in a quantitative or medical discipline.
Data management: At least 2 years of experience /Proficiency in general programming languages. strong proficiency in SQL or related languages,
Ability to communicate well on technical aspects in a way that non-technical stakeholders can understand them.
Prior experience in a client-facing role in doing data analysis to solve client questions, synthesizing recommendation, and communicating results to clients and internal teams in an effective manner.
Healthcare data experience: Demonstrated background in using healthcare data in a project setting. Relevant data types include insurance claims data (diagnoses, procedures, physician/hospital data) or electronic health records (free-text analysis, lab results).

Role And Responsibilities
- Apply a mix of quantitative problem-solving skills and qualitative research to solve the questions of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
- Collaborate with various teams (e.g., RWD domain experts, software developers, data analysts, and data scientists) on data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery to clients.
- Serve as a key point of contact for Clarivate’s RWD clients and maintaining the client relationship to ensure customer delight.
- Provide training to the clients purchasing DRG’s proprietary RWD products on the best practices and healthcare analysis with DRG RWD.
- Perform aggregation and processing of large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
- Identify unexpected trends and patterns to identify possible anomalies and collaborate closely with different teams to do root cause analysis and solve data-related issues.
- Work closely with the engineering team to provide analytical guidance and contribute to the codebase to build prototypes and models for new RWD driven product development.
- Designing, developing, and implementing a standard set of data quality assessment checks that would communicate the data quality to internal and external parties.
- Work closely with the domain experts to translate complex proprietary business rules and logic to scalable and optimal data process flows to enrich the RWD data product.
