Job Description:

Data Analyst Responsibilities:

• Participate in discovery processes, collaborating with key stakeholders to identify business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics.
• Design and build dashboards and reports using Power BI, or other data visualisation tools to provide actionable insights.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data analysis processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate data insights into software applications and business processes.
• Define business-specific performance metrics to measure data analysis effectiveness and monitor these metrics over time.

Data Analyst Requirements:

• Graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3 or more years of relevant data analysis experience, particularly in collecting, organising, analysing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent understanding of statistical techniques and their applications.
• Programming experience in Python for data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Great communication skills and ability to convey complex topics to a cross-functional audience.
