Server Data Analyst Overview

The Server Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of server-related data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Through systematic analysis and collaboration, they will identify discrepancies, correct tagging inaccuracies, and strengthen the alignment between CMDB data and operational insights.

Key Qualifications

 Proficiency in accessing and navigating both Windows and Linux servers.

 Advanced Excel skills, including creating and using simple macros.

 Experience with data analysis and cleanup processes.

 Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

 Between 4 to 6 years of experience.

Core Responsibilities

 Review server data in the CMDB to identify and rectify tagging errors.

 Collaborate with the CMDB team on data cleanup initiatives.

 Verify group access on servers (RDP and SSH) by logging into Windows and Linux platforms.

 Retrieve necessary data from server access screens.

 Utilize Excel and macros to compare CMDB data with ServiceReach data, identifying inconsistencies.

 Provide insights based on data analysis to improve team understanding and support.

 Effectively communicate findings through clear verbal and written reports.

Location: Preferred Gurgaon or Noida but working remotely.

Shift Preference: 11:30am to 08:30pm (IST).
