Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support research and data structuring efforts that power our MSME platform. This role involves deep understanding of the government domain—especially MSME-related schemes, notifications, compliance rules, and application processes. You will work closely with product and tech teams to translate real-world regulations and entitlements into structured, usable formats that enable digital workflows and user guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze central and state government schemes, policies, and notifications related to MSMEs.
• Understand scheme objectives, eligibility, benefits, timelines, and application procedures to translate them into structured documentation.
• Create and maintain a scheme master with all relevant metadata (e.g., sector, geography, target audience, document requirements).
• Convert eligibility criteria and compliance requirements into logic-based conditions that can be implemented in a system.
• Define user input questions and formats (e.g., dropdown, number field, Yes/No) required for eligibility assessment.
• Categorize and tag schemes and rules by sector, geography, business stage, etc.
• Track updates to government programs, new scheme launches, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to build user flows, automate logic, and enhance discoverability of benefits.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in research, policy, consulting, GovTech, or development sector.
• Strong understanding of how government schemes work—especially in terms of application workflows, eligibility documents, official notifications, and timelines.
• Experience summarizing and structuring government documents, policies, or circulars.
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets / Airtable and working with structured datasets.
• Logical thinking to translate real-world rules into IF-THEN conditions.
• Excellent written communication and ability to simplify complex rules.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields:

o Public Policy / Development Studies

o Economics / Commerce / Business Administration

o Data Science / Statistics / Social Sciences (with strong analytical orientation)

• Preference for candidates with:

o Exposure to government programs or ministries

o Internships/fellowships in policy research, governance, or development consulting
