Role Summary

Position: Data Analyst

Experience: 0 - 1 Year

Location: Hyderabad (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Analysis
  • Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, including web analytics, transactional databases, and marketing platforms
  • Interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, revenue, customer acquisition cost, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
  • Analyze sales data to assess business performance and customer trends.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities related to customer behavior, order frequency, popular product categories, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business decisions and strategic initiatives, including pricing, inventory optimization, and supply chain improvements.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders, including marketing, product, and leadership teams.
  • Present insights in a clear, actionable manner using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Competitive & Market Intelligence
  • Monitor real-time data to track demand, inventory levels, pricing, and delivery times, enabling rapid response to market changes and optimizing customer experience.
  • Benchmark company performance against competitors by analyzing pricing, product availability, delivery efficiency, and customer reviews to inform business strategy.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in data analytics, quick commerce, and relevant technologies to enhance analytical capabilities and business impact6.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and operations teams to understand analytical needs, propose data-driven solutions, and communicate actionable insights clearly.
  • Support cross-functional projects and facilitate the adoption of global data solutions.
  • Communication & Presentation
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations, ensuring insights are actionable and aligned with business goals.
  • These responsibilities enable a data analyst in a quick commerce team to drive operational efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and support data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Collaboration and Support
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales, web development) to support e-commerce strategies and business objectives.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for special projects or initiatives.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Quick commerce experience is a plus.

Skills

  • Excel (Advanced Level) - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Index-Match, Conditional Formatting, Dashboards.
  • SQL (Structured Query Language) - Data extraction, writing queries, joins, aggregations, filtering.
  • Data Visualization Tools - Power BI / Tableau / Google Data Studio and building interactive dashboards, charts, and reports.
  • Data Cleaning and Preprocessing - Identifying anomalies, handling missing data,and outlier detection.
  • Problem Solving & Business Acumen -Translating business questions into data queries and a basic understanding of business KPIs.
  • Reporting and Dashboarding - Building automated and easy-to-read reports.
  • Communication Skills - Ability to present insights in a non-technical way, along with strong documentation practices.
  • Attention to Detail - Accuracy in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaboration - Working closely with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, product, and tech.
