Introduction

We are searching for a global supply chain Strategist to join the Center of Excellence for Sourcing within the Materials and Indirect Procurement group in Global Supply Chain (GSC). This individual will be a key leader in developing and executing our supply chain and sourcing initiatives – such as sourcing strategy, Supplier Relationship Management, cost modeling, market intelligence, etc.

Your Job

• Develop procurement data visualizations and data models using PowerBI and Fabric and other tools to surface learnings and actionable insights, in order to support ongoing procurement operations and new supply chain strategies
• Cleanse or transform existing data to do custom analyses
• Ensure continual dashboard service level: keeping timely operations and uptime by monitoring and maintaining necessary data sources and flows, and remedying errors as they occur
• Conduct special projects for procurement team, including creative data ingestion, analysis, and insights development towards recommendations on optimizing procurement activities
• Perform adhoc data analyses as needed to support procurement team, collaborate internally with respective global stakeholder teams
• Create and maintain data templates and provide regular analysis into insights
• Provide cost-benefit analyses on supply chain initiatives and opportunities
• Perform market research on relevant industry players

• Bachelor's degree with strong mathematical or statistics fundamentals
• Is able to break complex problems into achievable parts and drive at solutions and approaches to derive tangible outcomes.
• Is proficient in data analytics: advanced analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, etc) and excellent Excel spreadsheet modeling, data structuring, etc.
• Basic knowledge on data extraction from database like Oracle/SAP/others
• Experience in automation and data analysis using Python
• Should have experience with analyzing data to root cause KPI’s misses
• Good communications skills: writing, editing, oral communications
• Project management skills – i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; manage your own time; drive projects from requirement gathering to completion; navigate and lead through ambiguity
• Uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles.
• Applies a deep understanding of company strategy and financial/business needs into own work environment.
• Applies appropriate language skills based on the job environment covering.
• Business language needs (English)
• Travel - Up to 5%
• Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
  
  

• 2+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, data science
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, manufacturing, production, and/or business consulting
• Broad experience & knowledge in semiconductor and/or advanced manufacturing sectors: broad expertise & knowledge of Semiconductor parts, OEM, and Non OEM equipment suppliers
• 2+ years professional experience in corporate, consulting, and supply chain
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP), other corporate systems (e.g., Icertis)
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and core principles (APICS Cert. or equivalent a plus)
• Has knowledge and experience with strategic sourcing & procurement processes.
