Job Title: Data Analyst – Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Role Overview:

As a Data Analyst – SCM, you will work closely with our Supply Chain team to provide actionable insights on inventory, logistics operations, and network structure. You will help drive improvements in cost, efficiency, and service levels by leveraging data and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize inventory norms across depots for better availability and reduced holding costs.
• Support logistics optimization by analyzing freight spends, transport routes, and service levels.
• Assist in network optimization by evaluating depot locations, distribution routes, and stock flow strategies to improve coverage and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with the team on demand forecasting and SKU-level planning.
• Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI / Excel for daily, weekly, and monthly tracking.
• Automate regular reporting workflows using Python or SQL where appropriate.
• Conduct detailed cost-benefit analysis of transportation, depot allocation, and network design decisions.
• Generate exception-based alerts for low stocks, overstock, or supply delays.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, VBA a plus).
• Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting.
• Basic to intermediate skills in SQL for data extraction.
• Familiarity with Python for automation or advanced analysis
• Understanding of supply chain processes (inventory, logistics, warehousing).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
