Overview
Your roleAre you curious about how financial instruments, pricing, analytics, valuations, benchmarks and indices are support t Asset Management? Are you organized and have an eye for detail? Are you motivated by analytical challenges? We’re looking for someone who can:
- Validate and maintain security, pricing, analytics, valuations, index and benchmark instrument data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Run daily and periodic data processes including enrichment, reconciliation, checks and report generation within SLAs.
- Analyse large datasets, identify issues, perform root analysis and apply tactical/strategic solutions.
- Handle queries from stakeholders such as portfolio managers, risks and internal teams with clear investigations and timely manner.
- Maintain and update SOPs and ensure adherence to Data Governance standards.
- Provide business analysis and requirements to improve data processes, controls and system workflows.
- Support UAT and production releases, working with IT and vendors to resolve data issues.
- Comfortable using Bloomberg, Bloomberg PORT, SQL, VBA, Power BI, ETL tools or Unix across AM Applications with strong communication skills in English.

Your team
You will be working in the Data Services team within Asset Management Chief Data Office aligned to traditional operations. You will be supporting the day-to-day processes carried out by the Data Services team, which would include providing timely, accurate and complete benchmark, index, and analytics data to the UBS Asset Management Division – in line with defined requirements.
Team provides 24*6 coverage to ensure uninterrupted support and assistance to the Asset Management Division. Team members are in Chicago, Zurich, Krakow, Singapore, and Pune.
Your expertise
You have:
- A university degree, ideally in – Business Mgmt. / Finance / Information Technology
- Solid knowledge of benchmarks, indices and asset classes, financial instruments.
- Solid experience with reconciliation, root cause analysis, complex troubleshooting and document findings.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis tools (Excel/VBA/Macro, SQL) and ETL tool (Alteryx).
- Strong communication skills (English) both verbal and written. Able to explain technical and non-technical topics to stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of leading market data platforms (e.g., RIMES, Bloomberg, Bloomberg PORT, ICE, Refinitiv).
- Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell) to aid in automation.
- Nice to have - experience with tools such as: PowerBI, SimCorp Dimension Platform, Power Automate and other Power Apps.
- Nice to have - familiarity with index licensing, vendor management.
