The Data Architect will design and implement data solutions that support the organization’s strategic business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Focuses on enterprise-wide data modelling and database design.
- Tests, monitors, manage and validate data warehouse activity including data extraction,
- Sets the strategic technology direction for the business intelligence environment, which will
- Works with business consumers, managers, analysts, and subject matter experts in a
- Develops processes and procedures for data warehouse and business intelligence
Skills Needed:
- Solid experience with data modelling, data warehousing, Data Lake, MDM, SSOT, analytic processes, and methodologies.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in data architecture, configuring and implementing data
- Proficient experience with SQL queries functionality, Power BI, Tableau, Business Intelligence software, and ETL tools.
- Strong knowledge of data integration, data quality and multi-dimensional design.
- Experience in Data Migration from on-premises databases to Cloud.
- Knowledge with AWS/Azure/GCP data technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge on Big Data Technologies (e.g. HDFS, Apache Spark, Scala, Impala, Hive, Cassandra) will be added plus.
- Knowledge of web services (e.g., SOAP and REST)
- Experienced in ETL / ELT tools
- Certifications on Snowflake, AWS /Azure/GCP
