Data Architect

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, cloud platforms, and modern data frameworks, with the ability to guide clients and teams in building next-generation data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and architecture of enterprise-scale data solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Define and implement data strategies, governance, and architecture best practices aligned to business needs.
• Architect and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and real-time data processing solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for building data lakes, warehouses, and advanced analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and cloud-native services for data integration, storage, and consumption.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance practices are embedded in all solutions.
• Mentor teams on modern data architecture patterns including data mesh and domain-driven data ownership.
• Act as a trusted client advisor by presenting solution designs, conducting workshops, and driving architecture discussions.
  
  

• 15–22 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in data architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in data processing frameworks and ETL/ELT pipeline development.
• Proven experience in architecture and deploying solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in data integration, real-time streaming, and API-based data access.
• Proficiency in data modelling (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured).
• Deep understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data architecture patterns (data mesh, lakehouse, etc.).
• Experience with tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Redshift, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with experience in client-facing roles.
