R Systems is seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data architecture that supports our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with best practices in data management and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures leveraging AWS services and data modeling techniques such as Data Vault.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to create and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation using AWS Glue and Lambda.
• Implement data storage solutions using Amazon Redshift and other AWS data services, ensuring performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize AWS Kinesis and EMR to support real-time data processing and analytics.
• Establish data governance protocols to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
  
  

• Strong expertise in DevOps practices to facilitate the deployment of data solutions.
• Proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, and EMR.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and data integrity checks.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and best practices in data integration.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques, primarily Data Vault.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in a data engineering environment.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• **Architectural Design & Development**:
• Design and implement robust data architectures that meet the business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Utilize specialized tools and frameworks, including AWS, Redshift, Glue, and Data Vault, to establish architecture that supports ETL processes and data governance.
• **Data Pipeline Development**:
• Create and maintain ETL and data pipeline processes to ingest and transform data efficiently using AWS technologies such as Glue and Lambda.
• Leverage Amazon Kinesis to build real-time data processing applications, ensuring seamless data flow and immediate access to insights.
• **Big Data Management**:
• Implement and manage data solutions using Amazon EMR to process large datasets and ensure timely retrieval of data for analytics and reporting.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval mechanisms in AWS Redshift to support analytical workloads and maintain high performance.
• **Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement**:

• **Documentation & Best Practices**:
