R Systems is seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data architecture that supports our business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures leveraging AWS services and data modeling techniques such as Data Vault.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to create and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation using AWS Glue and Lambda.
- Implement data storage solutions using Amazon Redshift and other AWS data services, ensuring performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize AWS Kinesis and EMR to support real-time data processing and analytics.
- Establish data governance protocols to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Strong expertise in DevOps practices to facilitate the deployment of data solutions.
- Proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, and EMR.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and data integrity checks.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and best practices in data integration.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques, primarily Data Vault.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in a data engineering environment.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

- **Architectural Design & Development**:

- **Data Pipeline Development**:
- Create and maintain ETL and data pipeline processes to ingest and transform data efficiently using AWS technologies such as Glue and Lambda.
- Leverage Amazon Kinesis to build real-time data processing applications, ensuring seamless data flow and immediate access to insights.
- **Big Data Management**:
- Implement and manage data solutions using Amazon EMR to process large datasets and ensure timely retrieval of data for analytics and reporting.

- **Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement**:
