About The Role
We are actively hiring a seasoned Data Engineer to join our data platforms team in Gurugram.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data processing systems, cloud platforms, and analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Hadoop ecosystem tools, and data pipeline orchestration.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data processing systems, cloud platforms, and analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Hadoop ecosystem tools, and data pipeline orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS and Big Data technologies.
- Implement ETL workflows using Hive, Spark, and other data transformation tools.
- Optimize SQL queries and work with large-scale data in Hadoop and cloud data lakes.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data reliability, quality, and availability through proactive monitoring and automation.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for deployment and version control using Git.
- Manage workflows and job scheduling using tools like Control-M and Airflow.
- Support and monitor data systems using tools such as Sumologic and Splunk.
- Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI as needed.
- Proficiency in AWS data services (e.g., S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift)
- Strong experience with Hadoop, Apache Spark, Hive
- Advanced SQL programming and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments
- ETL tools : Talend, Shell Scripting
- Scheduling tools : Control-M, Apache Airflow
- Monitoring tools : Sumologic, Splunk
- Visualization : Power BI
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning workflows and concepts
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
