**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our data management team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Databricks on AWS, and AWS services. The right candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that ensure the delivery of high-quality data to our analytics and business intelligence platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to ensure the seamless flow of data from various sources to data warehouses.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure.
- Optimize data processing and ETL workflows for maximum performance and efficiency using PySpark and Databricks.
- Work with Snowflake to develop and manage data storage solutions.
- Utilize AWS services to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of data infrastructures.
- Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement best practices for data governance and quality assurance.
- Document processes and provide training to other team members as needed.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake and its data warehousing capabilities.
- Experience working with Databricks on AWS for data engineering tasks.
- Solid understanding of AWS services and their application in data engineering.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
