Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to interpret data and turn into information (reports, dashboards, interactive visualizations etc) which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing data pipelines, warehousing, batch/real-time event processing, streaming, data processing (ETL/ELT), data migrations, data visualization tools and data governance on cloud native architectures
• Hands-on experience with one or more general purpose programming languages such as Go, Python, NodeJS.
• Experience in Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Thanos, PromQL, Grafana.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Estimate projects, discuss scope, understand requirements, and come up with designs.
• Develop a deep understanding of Prometheus, Thanos, Open Telemetry Data Pipelines, identify opportunities to optimize for efficiency and performance, enhance and maintain the pipelines to support new product requirements
• Work closely with Product Managers, and other Engineers to implement products for our Users.
