Job Title: Data Engineer – Financial Crime (FinCrime)
Experience: 5 to 10 Years
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer specialized in Financial Crime (FinCrime) solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytics solutions to combat financial crime, leveraging advanced analytics and big data technologies.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer specialized in Financial Crime (FinCrime) solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytics solutions to combat financial crime, leveraging advanced analytics and big data technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize robust ETL processes using SQL Server, DataStage, Databricks, and Informatica.
- Develop and maintain scalable big data solutions leveraging HiveQL, Spark, AWS cloud services, and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data science teams to deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions using Python, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
- Create and enhance dashboards and visual analytics using Tableau, Power BI, and matplotlib for actionable business insights.
- Manage agile delivery processes, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives using JIRA and adhering to SDLC best practices.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards for financial crime prevention.
- Strong experience in Data Engineering & ETL processes: SQL Server, DataStage, Databricks, Informatica.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence & Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib.
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics: Python, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow.
- Expertise in Big Data Technologies: HiveQL, Spark, AWS ecosystem, Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Project Management tools: JIRA, SDLC.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Prior experience in financial crime prevention or related regulatory fields (AML, Fraud, Compliance).
- Certifications in Data Engineering, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Snowflake), or related technology stack.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Data Engineering and analytics, preferably in the FinCrime domain.
