Data Engineer - Internship

About the internship:

We're PlayTheory Labs, & we build useful data products for the web. We're a cool squad making useful web stuff. We fix real problems, love learning from what we do, and enjoy finding new, fun ways to work together. We're small but mighty, preferring a tight-knit group to a big, boring office. Everyone's ideas matter here, and we get to work on projects like CheckStack and Superflow, which are all about exploring the tech world. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and implement data pipelines
2. Build crawlers & collate unstructured/structured datasets for further processing
3. Clean, manipulate, and structure large datasets to extract data to enrich datasets
4. Develop algorithms and models to optimize data processing and improve data quality (NLTK, Fine tune LLMs/SLMs, SpaCy, BERT etc)
5. Assist in testing and troubleshooting data infrastructure and systems
6. Work with AWS & other cloud infrastructure include Terraform or equivalent for deploying data pipelines at scale

Stipend:

INR₹ 5,000 /month

Other Requirements:

1. Prior internship/work/project experience is preferred

2. We don't make simple dashboards, so if you are just good at BI dashboards, do not apply
